Happy new year! Can you believe it's 2023? I remember staying up all night to watch time move from 1999 to 2000. I could barely imagine 2001, let alone 2023. And yet, here we are - better than I could have ever dreamed. As winter continues to wrap us in chill and night bleeds into day, know that me is passing - but we are not finished yet! Dream big, love generously forgive wholeheartedly, and may the heavens rain down joy and blessings in the coming year. ~ Joanne

EXQUISITE COLLABORATION POEM PROMPT

The Exquisite Collaboration Project works like this: I provide a prompt and people from around the world respond. Their responses are then put together to form a collaborative ... poem. word collage. creative prose. we never know until it's finished.... which is then posted at:
https://notesfromthefunnyfarm.wordpress.com/exquisite-collaboration-project-main/

This process is meant to remind us that if we all just contribute our part to a creative project, the end result will be something exquisitely beautiful - even if (especially if) it's nothing we would have thought to create on our own.

TELL YOURSELF A NEW STORY
Next session: DATE TBA
via Zoom
To get info when dates are announced, make sure you're on the mailing list or use the contact form.

"I'm not creative."
“No one cares what I have to say.”
“I'll never have another good idea.”
"I can't because I don't know how."
"I could never...but I wish I could."

These are just some of the stories we tell ourselves that create roadblocks along our creative (and life) path. But imagine the possibilities if you could tell yourself a different story! In this session, we'll use reflective writing prompts and fun exercises to silence the inner critic and turn those self-limiting statements upside down. Start 2023 on a fresh path towards creative possibility!

Need a workshop presenter for your conference, event, or company training?
If you're interested in learning more about how the basics of improv can be applied to your daily life to help build self esteem, enhance communication, foster team work, embrace creativity, and help you learn to play again, I'd love to craft a workshop for your employees, team, classroom, small group, writers circle, conference, or event!

Central Creatives is located at 349 West Commercial Street, in the Piano Works Mall, East Rochester, NY, 14445, right off 490. Park at the end of the plaza near Ferrari Pizza and enter through the RED single door between Weaving Arts Guild and Penn Fair Golf, right next to the antiques shop. Follow the hallway and take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. If you're there for an event, signs will direct you to the Gallery Entrance (near Roc Star Academy), which is the best way to get to my studio (#25). When you get there, text me at the number posted on the door and someone will let you in.
Outside of event times, my studio is open by appointment only.
